Gaylon Rolison of BracketNews.com:
What was, in your mind David, the key to your success on 1st
KOC Championship? Having a car
that could run consistently on any of the tracks that we raced at.
Gaylon Rolison of BracketNews.com: David
you have come oh so close in previous years with winning the KOC
Points Championship, was there anything you changed mentally or with
your car that may have assisted you with winning the 2008 KOC Points
Championship? No, everything stayed the
same other than a little quicker ET. The car has repeated much more
consistently since we rebuilt the car in 2006. At that time, the
car was converted to a double slip chassis and a new body that was
put on by Jeff Little of J-Mark Racecars.

Gaylon Rolison of
BracketNews.com: David, with the 2008 Championship coming
right down to the wire between Wyatt Ezell of Ventress, LA and
Bubba Stephenson of Bastrop, LA and yourself, was there any KOC
Weekend or any particular round that sticks out in your mind in
2008?
November 8th and 9th at Gulfport. We won
on Saturday and went a few rounds on Sunday. This moved us to
the top of the points. Until that weekend, it looked like no
one would be able to catch Wyatt. I believe he had some
problems on this weekend and did not win very many rounds. |
